Jim Carrey's award-winning perfomance in The Cable Guy (MTV Movie Awards: Best Villain; Best Comedic Performance) was the ONLY saving grace for the movie which earned poor reviews and mediocre box office numbers.

Because of Carrey's performance alone, The Cable Guy is one of very few movies I enjoy watching again and again.
