After doing some research after being inspired by an article dockwats posted, I came across this very interesting little video. Apparently its one from a series where the creationists try and find animals that they believe could not have possibly formed through evolution and then use them as evidence for creation. Personally I think that this guy has jumped ship because he was brainwashed but I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about it.

I find that whenever I encounter someone who doesn't believe (or claims to have disproven) evolution, if you ask them to explain how evolution works, they invariably have no idea what they're talking about.

my toxic ass juice squirts too! that is definitive evidence that this bombardier beetle and I evolved from a common ancestor!! hah!!!

This is just pseudoscience though, he is a dentist!! Most medical professionals I know do not know evolution very well, it is not taught in medical school. My wife is a MD, so, I do know this is fact.
They are not taught real evolution, he is way out of his league. He confuses origin of the universe and life with evolution, so right away, we know he does not know the difference between the two.
The beetle uses two chemicals, Those chemicals are hydrogen peroxide and hydroquinones, most organisms have enzymes that produce these chemicals or similar, and were recruited for a new purpose, a common process in evolution, like human hands and flippers for example.
He has no clue what happens during evolutionary processes.

Immeasurable diversity of life in conjunction with millions of similarities within that diversity indicates to any creature with a brain and a willingness to reason, that life and its origin had to be planned. Too many patterns and consistencies - to insist otherwise is desperately absurd.

OK, take just the beetles. With over 350,000 different known beetle species worldwide. Diversity in beetle species is beyond calculation - with millions of size, shape and color combinations. Yet the consistencies among all beetles, such as having each two pairs of wings and six legs, proves any theory that proposes that this form of life was/is formed arbitrarily to be false.

I'm I a creationist? Nope. At least I don't think so. Not in the classic sense at any rate. But to ignore the obvious patterned order in natural existence is not something I'm prepared to do.

By the by, as non-creationist theories and evolutionist theories are inextricably bound one to another, I don't try to separate them - no choice but to treat them in tandem. In the same way, creationist and non-evolutionist theories must be treated and considered together.

So anyway, I've no clue how life was brought about but any theories incorporating the arbitrary are most certainly ruled out. And it bears mentioning, by the way, that creationists, at least those with whom I'm acquainted, do concede that, to some extent at least, evolution does exist.

As a non-classic-creationist and non-classic-evolutionist, I have observed just within my own lifetime, for instance, that the average human is taller and taller by the year. That speaks to at least some sort of evolving in an elementary sense. But evolution theories alone cover only about 5 percent of the pertinent unanswered questions. The rest is all gaps and holes and blanks and... who knows...
